Jacob Breunig, President

Jacob is a Diesel technology student from Madison college working on completing his final year in this program. He served four years in the United States Marine Corps as a Motor Transportation Operator. Transferring out of the military, SkillsUSA has given Jacob the opportunity to practice his social skills in the civilian sector as well as meet with many industry partners in Heavy Equipment and related Industries. Jacob also had the opportunity to complete at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in June of 2023 and placed 11th in the Nation for Diesel Technology. Currently working at Waste Management as a Diesel Technician, in his free time Jacob enjoys, working on cars, trucks, and motorcycles, as well as fishing, and spending time with his family. 

 

Eric Jashinsky, Vice-President

Eric  is a third year WCTC student and studying architectural drafting. He is the former state President and current Vice-President of the SkillsUSA Wisconsin Chapter. Since  joining SkillsUSA as an officer in 2022 he has learned much of what SkillsUSA has to offer its members and how members can benefit from joining the organization. Eric is currently focused on completing his final year of architectural drafting which will enable him to accomplish his goal of working for a custom architectural firm in the future.  

Eric currently resides in Milwaukee Wisconsin where he lives with his roommate and friend from high school. He is often volunteering with his Boy Scout Troop as Scoutmaster. In addition to his work and school he dedicates his time to his outdoor hobbies such as hiking, camping, and cooking. He can even rarely be found out camping in winter, which is not as terrible as it sounds. 

 

Max Richard, Parliamintarian

Max  is a diesel technician from Kieler, WI. He is currently a student in his second and final year of the Diesel & Heavy Equipment Technology program at Madison Area Technical College. Max has been part of the industry for 2 years, with his passion and inspiration originating from his family’s business, Guy’s Truck & Tractor Service. During his first year in tech school as well as during this school year, he is employed at Wisconsin Kenworth as a diesel technician. When he wasn’t at school, including last summer, he went back to work for his family, and he plans to do so again after he graduates. When Max first started at MATC, he was introduced to his SkillsUSA chapter, where he became the secretary of his college chapter. He was elected as a state officer and learned important skills including interpersonal, facilitation, and leadership skills.
